So much work has been produced during the past two months, largely focused on a variety of thematic series. Many are related (of course) to personal experiences and thoughts. The “Praise the (Holy) Spirit series consists of seven panels celebrating the source from which inspiration and faith flows. The first panel for the “Inauguration” series was finished around the inaugural ceremonies of the 46th President. The 18 panel “Golfer Series” began in the summer of 2020 with focused work on completing the pieces by the beginning of March. The first panel was purchased as a commissioned work and therefore, the remaining 17 panels remain.
i have also been working on the “Fourth Wall” series consisting of carvings on wall plaques as if seen through the imaginary fourth wall in traditional theatre spaces (the proscenium arch). These reflect more personal experiences.
